Construction Project

The City of Detroit completed phase two of the Mayor Dennis W. Archer Greenway earlier this year. The second phase runs from Robert Bradby Drive to Vernor.  The greenway now provides East Siders with safe and easy access to the riverfront from Vernor all the way to Jefferson.   The popular pathway features a special pedestrian plaza between Larned Street and Jefferson Avenue, as well as benches, landscaping, outdoor power stations, playscapes, security cameras and emergency call boxes.  The Conservancy manages and provides security for the greenway.
