Mt. Elliott Café (Seasonal)
Located under the pavilion at Mt. Elliott Park, the Mt. Elliott Café is your perfect stop for a refreshing snack or beverage while enjoying the stunning views of the Detroit Riverfront or cooling off on the splash pad.
Mt. Elliott Park was introduced to the Detroit community in 2014 following its transformation by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.
The park is home to the Gilbert Family Schooner, a Great Lakes ship-themed splash pad with water cascades, “kid-activated” water cannons, wind chimes, and many other interactive features that make it a favorite of visitors of all ages.
All improvements at Mt. Elliott Park were designed to be universally accessible to those of all ages and physical abilities, and the design features have been crafted to be responsive to the nature of the site and authentic to its heritage.
With stunning views of the Detroit River, Belle Isle, and its many amenities, Mt. Elliott Park is a wonderful place for Detroiters to gather and experience the riverfront together.
