The much-anticipated Detroit Riverfront Run is back in 2023! After record attendance last year, we’re excited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy with you during this family-friendly wellness event!
This year’s Detroit Riverfront Run features a 5k & 10k run/walk and will be held on June 10, 2023. The race route will showcase the beautiful Detroit Riverwalk and Dequindre Cut. All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, a participating medal, post race snacks and other goodies to be announced. Registration for the 5K run/walk is $35 per participant, 10K is $45 per person or virtual race is $45 per person before May 1. Starting May 1st registration fees increase to $40 for the 5k, $50 for the 10k or $50 for the virtual race.
PACKET PICKUP - Packet Pick up for the riverfront run will take place on June 9th from 12-6pm at Run Detroit. Run Detroit is located at 441 W. Canfield Street, Detroit MI 48201. Click here for a parking map. Race Day packet pick up will begin at 7:30 AM and end at 8:30am at the race start and finish line located in Cullen Plaza - 1340 E. Atwater St. Detroit, MI 48207.
RACE DAY PARKING - Free parking for all race day participants will be available at the River East Garage located at corner of Rivard and Franklin Streets across from the race start and finish line. Parking will be available starting at 7am and cars must exit the lot by 12pm. The address to the River East Garage is 1000 Franklin St., Detroit, MI 48207.
Wondering how to participate in a Virtual Run?
Step 1 – Register for the Detroit Riverfront Run!
Step 2 – Your shirt, bib, & finisher medal will be mailed to you the week of June 12th.
Step 3 – Run or Walk your Virtual 5K or 10K anytime/anywhere between June 12– June 30th. (Ex. treadmill, favorite park, on the Riverwalk on a different day)
Step 4 - Share your photos online and use the #DetroitRiverfrontRun2023! There will not be race awards for the virtual race.
