Moonlight Yoga
Wednesday, Aug 03, 2022 - 8:30pm
This event occurs every 2 weeks Wednesday until Wed Aug 31 2022.
Moonlight Yoga takes a unique twist on yoga classes by providing participants with glowing jewelry and incorporating lighted glow sticks into traditional yoga poses.
At each session, local yoga instructor Michelle Renaud of Detroit’s Urban Solace will lead participants through a series of traditional yoga poses, as well as new ones, utilizing special 16-inch lighted batons that will be provided to each registrant. Additionally, each participant receives glow necklaces and bracelets to wear during the session.
The event is $5 to cover equipment cost and other associated costs, and space is limited for each session, so advance registration is required. Registration will open two weeks before each class. If cost is prohibitive to your participation, please email info@detroitriverfront.org. If class is cancelled due to inclement weather, the DRFC will work to reschedule or apply registration fee towards a future class. If rescheduling is not possible, your fee will go towards continuing the work of the DRFC.
Registration will open on the Thursday two weeks before each class.
2022 classes will take place on August 3, 17, and 31 at 8:30 PM in Gabriel Richard Park.
