Detroit RiverFront Conservancy Seeks Donor Services Coordinator

April 26, 2018 - [DETROIT] - The Detroit RiverFront Conservancy (DRFC) is seeking a Development Services Coordinator to maintain and administer the constituent database (DonorPerfect) and provide support to the Development programs of the DRFC. The coordinator ensures accuracy of donor database records, processes donations and gift acknowledgements in a timely manner, fulfills membership benefits and supports a variety of fundraising activities including annual giving, major gift programs, specific events and stewardship.
The successful candidate should have 3+ years experience with donor data entry and donor stewardship and experience in non-profit development with demonstrated knowledge of basic fundraising concepts. Candidates should demonstrate a strong initiative, integrity, and ability to interact positively with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds. The job requires exceptional organizational skills and a track record of paying close attention to accuracy, detail, deadlines, and follow-through. Additional requirements include a passion for the work and mission of the DRFC and the City of Detroit, strong written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in information technology systems and software including DonorPerfect, Constant Contact, Microsoft Office, Publisher, and the use of the internet for research.
A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience is required. This is a full-time position with benefits reporting directly to the Director of Development Services.
