Construction of the Riverwalk along the Downtown Development Authority-owned property just west of Riverfront Towers will begin in summer 2021. This section of Riverwalk will connect the Riverfront Towers boardwalk with the new Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park.
Currently, the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation (DEGC) is coordinating the start of seawall repair, which will begin in spring 2021. The property will include a connected pathway to Wilson Park, lighting, seating, and a plaza.
