Schedule some outdoor fitness into your winter weekend with the Polar Power Walk with Urban Solace! This free class combines movement with light strengthening and stretching activities along the Detroit Riverwalk. You'll be guided through a riverfront walk with stops for fitness breaks along the way. Who says you can't work out outside in the winter?
Polar Power Walk is part of Winter at Valade's Winter Wellness Weekends. After the class, explore Winter at Valade and enjoy hot chocolate, bonfires, s'mores, and other festive winter fun!
Polar Power Walk takes place from 11am-Noon on the following Saturdays: January 14, January 28, February 11, February 25.
Pre-registration is required. Registration opens the Monday before the class at noon.
Robert C. Valade Park is located at 2670 Atwater St. Parking for Winter at Valade is located in the lot at the corner of Chene and Guoin (enter on Guoin) and in nearby lots and streets. Please follow all posted parking directional singage.
