The Dequindre Cut will be filled with the sounds of some of Metro Detroit’s most talented entertainers this summer as the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy brings back its FREE Campbell Terrace Performance Series with weekly performances every Wednesday from June 29 to September 7. Detroit music collective D.Cipher curates the line up for this series which includes DJ sets and live performances.
See below for the full line up!
The Campbell Terrace is a small-scale outdoor performance venue that features a covered stage, tiered concrete walls for seating and lush landscaping. It is located at the base of the Lafayette Street ramp to the Dequindre Cut between Orleans and St. Aubin Streets. The Terrace was commissioned by a $1 million gift from the McGregor Fund to honor the legacy of David Campbell, its former president who passed away in 2014. Campbell was also a founding member of the Conservancy’s board, as well as an avid supporter of arts and culture.
Visitors are encouraged to park near any of the Dequindre Cut entrances and travel to the Campbell Terrace. MoGo bikes are available at the Dequindre Cut Freight Yard as well as at Atwater and Orleans for those interested in renting a bike to move along the Cut. Lawn chairs and outside food are welcome; outside alcohol is not allowed.
When participating in Detroit Riverfront Conservancy's programs or visiting the Detroit Riverfront, please remember: The health and safety of visitors and participants is our top priority. Please stay home if you are feeling sick or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19. Program participants are encouraged to wash or sanitize their hands frequently and to respect the comfort levels of those around them.
