The Commodores are coming to the riverfront on August 11th for a free concert as a part of Good Moves, Good Grooves - a three day a three-day family-friendly community celebration that will get Metro Detroiters movin’ and groovin’ this summer. Presented by the William Davidson Foundation, the weekend celebration will take place August 11-13, along the Detroit Riverwalk at Cullen Plaza and Milliken State Park and Harbor in downtown Detroit.

Good Moves, Good Grooves will kick-off Friday, August 11 with Motown Museum’s “Rivertown Revue” – a celebration of music and talent in Detroit followed by a concert on the riverfront featuring The Commodores.

• Doors open at 6pm
• Rivertown Revue at 7:30pm 
• The Commodores at 8:30pm 

Free parking is available for at River East Garage located at 214 Rivard St, Detroit MI, 48207. 
Entrances to the concert grounds are available at Atwater and Rivard St, Atwater and Riopelle and at Cullen Plaza. 

Folding and Camping Chairs are permitted into the concert ground, but no outside food or beverages or coolers. 
Bikes may be permitted into the concert grounds, but we ask bikers to walk their bikes, or utilize bike parking located at Atwater and Rivard. 

All Bags are Subject to Search and guests will be wanded upon entry, weapons are not permitted.
