Uniroyal Promenade Grand Opening

The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy is excited to announce the grand opening of the Uniroyal Promenade, taking place October 21, 2023.
This Riverwalk connection between Mt. Elliott Park and Gabriel Richard Park completes the Conservancy's 3.5-mile vision for the East Riverfront and will connect the Riverwalk to the MacArthur Bridge to Belle Isle. The grand opening celebration will take place Saturday, October 21 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. beginning at Mt. Elliott Park.
There will be brief remarks at 10 a.m. followed by a ribbon cutting. At 10:30 a.m., guests will be invited to stroll down the new promenade and join a community celebration at Gabriel Richard Park until 2 p.m.
