This fascinating hour-long documentary tells the story of how the Detroit Riverfront evolved from industrial, blighted and underused to a vibrant world-class waterfront featuring parks, pathways and greenways.
The story is told from the perspective of the people who played prominent roles in the incredible transformation over the last two decades. Vintage news footage and archival renderings are interspersed with interviews and candid conversations from key people throughout the documentary.
All ages are welcome. Ticket cost is $5.

Parking available at DIA parking lot on John R St., street parking around the DIA and at the Wayne State Rackham Structure located at 45 E. Warren between Woodward and John R.
