DanceAbility Riverwalk Wednesdays

Join Cara Graninger and guest musical artists Tia Imani Hanna and Marcus Elliot for in-person outdoor Wednesday DanceAbility Detroit workshops this spring.

Wednesday outdoor workshops are 11am to 12:30pm, at Cullen Plaza on the Riverwalk near the carousel. Accessible parking at Atwater & Rivard and close accessible bathrooms, water fountain, too.
ASL interpretation provided if requested at least three days prior to each workshop. We also strive to provide transportation support through participant carpooling and professional services.
DanceAbility movement improvisation can be high-energy or slow and gentle, so come as you are. It's for people of all ages with and without disabilities, with and without formal dance training to co-create dance. Discover new possibilities to move through the world! These workshops are open to newcomers as well as folks with DanceAbility experience.
The cost is $0-$25 for each workshop. This is Economic Justice pricing--you decide how much to pay in that range based on your budget. DanceAbility Detroit is supported by Detroit Disability Power and the Michigan Arts & Culture Council, and by tuition from participants with extra dollars to give.
