Join the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy for Black History Family Fun Night featuring Black history and culture games, trivia, hot chocolate and an interactive coloring mural. Families are encouraged to head down to Valade Park on Friday, February 2nd from 4-9pm for this special Fireside Friday celebrating Detroit's rich Black history.
The night's activities will feature a coloring mural from Detroit's own Coloring Museum starting at 4pm, a free hot chocolate happy hour sponsored from Bosch from 6-7pm, and family-friendly Black History Trivia from 6-8pm, with games at 6pm and 7pm. Visitors can also take part in the other fun Valade Park has to offer including curling, sledding, oversized fires, board games - including Black culture themed games. All activities are free and open to the public.
