Join Sierra Club Michigan Chapter, MI Rain Barrel, and Detroit Riverfront Conservancy on Sunday, April 21st at 12:30 PM at Gabriel Richard Park (7130 E Jefferson Detroit, MI 48207) for 2024 Rain Barrels on the Riverfront. Participants will have the opportunity to build a rain barrel, paint their rain barrel, and learn about sustainable practices from other local organizations.

Pre-register for the event (using the link at the bottom of the page) to purchase a rain barrel at the discounted price of $75 (rain barrel must be purchased before the event to receive this price). ***A limited number of scholarship and further discounted rain barrels are available through the Sierra Club Great Lakes Program. Event Schedule 

• 12:30 PM, Check-in for those who have pre-registered
• 1 PM, Rain barrel workshop begins ***participation in construction required
• 2 PM, Opportunity to paint your rain barrel after it's been constructed
• 3 PM, Event concludes
