Come and see the amazing Lake Sturgeon up close and personal during Sturgeon Day at Milliken State Park! Join the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge and the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy as we partner together to celebrate all things sturgeon!

Staff from the Alpena Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office - Detroit River Substation and Michigan DNR will be on hand to learn all about this incredible fish. This event is FREE and fun for all ages!

  • Touch a live sturgeon

  • Visit with partner organizations
  • Arts & crafts
  • Food truck
