Tanisha is a dedicated educator whose passion for education is only rivaled by her commitment to volunteer work and serving her community. Born and raised in Detroit, being a Cass Technical High School graduate, she developed a deep sense of responsibility and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the world from an early age.

Tanisha's journey in education began when she earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, followed by her Master’s degree from Wayne State University. Upon starting her career in education, it quickly became evident that she possessed a unique ability to inspire and empower others. Her innovative teaching methods and genuine care for others earned her the respect and admiration of both her colleagues and community members. In her current role she fosters industry partnerships for the betterment of students. Over the years she and her students have won countless awards, the Certificate of Excellence Award from Detroit Public Schools Community District being one of her most cherished. She has also secured scholarships and gainful employment for students that align with their future career goals.

Beyond the classroom, Tanisha's love for volunteering and community service is truly remarkable. She regularly dedicates her free time to various charitable organizations, providing support, and contributing to local initiatives that aim to improve the lives of those in need. Her philanthropic efforts have touched the lives of countless individuals, and her unwavering commitment to her community has made her a beloved figure.
