Southwest Greenway

Crews are currently putting the finishing touches on the Southwest Greenway, which is a little more than a half-mile in length. When the greenway is complete, it will link the West Riverfront with Michigan Central, Ford’s Mobility Hub, and the Corktown, Hubbard-Richard and Southwest Detroit neighborhoods. The greenway will not only be a beautiful space to walk, run and bike, but will also include places of respite and a designated play area for children.
Contractors are completing final punch list items and moving toward a spring grand opening.
