There’s no better place to experience winter celebrations from around the globe than on Detroit’s international riverfront February 14 - 16. Join us for Winter Around the World featuring a Lunar New Year celebration on Sunday, February 16. There will be an international food truck rally and dance performances showcasing a variety of styles and genres by Detroit artists.
Sunday’s Lunar New Year celebration with the Michigan Taiwanese American Organization (MITAI), will include a festive and colorful parade, drumming, and lion, dragon and Nezha dances, as well as a performance by the Formosa Student Orchestra Ensemble.
Additionally, there will be a mini market hosted by Little Asian Bites featuring food and goods for purchase from Lor Bistro, Paradise Eats, Tiger Sugar and others.
