What days and times are available for the private Fireside Happy Hours?

A very limited number of private Fireside Happy Hours are available January 14, January 28, and February 11 from 6-8pm. 

How do I reserve my Fireside Happy Hour?

Visit https://detroitriverfront.org/give/fireside to submit your donation and reservation date preference. We will get in touch to finalize your date and day-of logistics.

What comes with my Fireside Happy Hour?

We will have one giant outdoor fireplace reserved for you and 10 guests for 2 hours, with staff attending to the fire during your visit. You will also receive 10 s’mores kits as well as warm seasonal beverages.

Is there additional food available?

If you and your guests would like to order additional food during your Happy Hour, you can visit the Shed at Valade Park, where there is sushi from Geisha Girls and BBQ from Smokey G's available for purchase.

What if there is a cancellation due to weather?

If rain prevents us from hosting your Fireside Happy Hour, we will reach out and schedule an alternative date.

What is my donation going towards?

Your $1,000 donation will go directly to our winter programming and operations, keeping the Detroit Riverfront merry and bright this season.

Can I enjoy one of the giant outdoor fireplaces without reserving a private happy hour? 

Yes! Our fireplaces are open to the public every weekend through the end of February: Fridays from 5-9pm, Saturdays from 12-9pm, and Sundays from 12-7pm.
