What is the fundraiser in support of?
Building on the success of the 2020 initiative, this second physically-distant, socially-connected fundraiser will celebrate summer on the Detroit Riverfront and raise critical funds to support our essential work.
Our need for financial support has only grown; we have seen a 40% increase in attendance along the Dequindre Cut and 20% over the whole Riverwalk in 2020. Your contribution allows us to continue our essential work along the Detroit Riverwalk from maintenance and programming to the expansion of the Riverwalk and associated green spaces.
What is inside the package?
Supporters who purchase a package will receive a curated box from Midtown retailer City Bird, filled with locally-sourced items and limited edition Riverfront gifts to celebrate summer in Detroit. Learn more about what’s inside the package here [insert hyperlink later].

Where is this taking place?
Everywhere! Your house, a Riverfront park, or in a tent in your backyard. It is up to you - we encourage you to enjoy your #BeingApartTogether items while you are physically distanced with friends.
Does the package offer activities for all ages?
Yes! Both packages include Riverfront summer items curated by Midtown retailer City Bird. The Riverfront Essentials Package includes a selection of Riverfront items, while the Family Fun Package has something for the entire family.
What is the Buy-One-Give-One Program?
Help us spread riverfront cheer throughout the community with the Buy-One-Give-One Program. In addition to receiving your #BeingApartTogether Family Fun Package, a family from one of our local charity partners will receive their own box of summer fun.

How can I watch the Battle of the Bands?
Battle of the Bands will stream from our Facebook Page. Performers will vie for a spot on a future River Days Main Stage lineup, so be sure to tune-in and vote for your favorite band.
How can I vote?

Do I have to purchase a package to listen to the Battle of the Bands entertainment?
Anyone may watch and vote thanks to the kind donations of our #BeingApartTogether supporters and sponsors. While buying a package is not required to listen to the entertainment, you will receive special items to enjoy while tuning into the Battle of the Bands.
