6PM Battle of the Bands

Tune-in to our Facebook page or Youtube Channel for this joyful evening of genre-spanning Detroit music broadcast from the Detroit Riverfront and vote for your favorite performer. The winner will receive a cash prize and coveted spot on a future River Days Main Stage.

The Battle of the Bands lineup includes:

  • New World Soul, Presented by Friends of Robert C. Valade Park – the returning 2020 #BeingApartTogether fan favorites will perform a high energy set of pop, R&B, and soul
  • New Music Detroit - This collective of musicians will perform new and adventurous classical music from the late 20th century to the present day.  
  • Lvrboy, Presented by Matt & Mona Simoncini, this performer from the D.Cipher music series will deliver a selection of alternative soul and R&B.
  • The Aston Neighborhood Pleasure Club, Presented by the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation - an acoustic ensemble evoking the spirit of New Orleans street bands.
